As it is often not possible to mount the standard pulse generator on the transmission in passenger cars / small commercial vehicles, the CAN bus connection is connected between the CAN bus of the vehicle and the
M1 N1 adapter. The M1 N1 adapter processes the pulses for the tachograph and sends the correct signal. This enables a smooth installation. Please note that after installation, the vehicle must undergo a

This CAN connection is also often used in conjunction with M1/N1 adapters.
