The box installed in the driver’s cab (3 cables, +, -, ignition) sends the vehicle position via GPS-DATA at adjustable intervals to the telematik.tachodownload portal booked with us.
The position is displayed on a Google map in your login area. You can plan tours and calculate journey times there.
The TCD app(Android and Apple) allows you to view the positions of your fleet on all end devices (desktop, tablet, cell phone). If your dispatcher or warehouseman has access, he can also see when the vehicles arrive at the forwarding yard or at the customer’s premises.
Data is not lost: even if the ignition is switched off or the battery is disconnected, the integrated rechargeable battery keeps the vehicle localized for up to 24 hours – depending on the battery charge.
If you also want to save driver and tachograph data or view remaining driving times, we recommend the web++ or web+++ system. The data is then transferred by cable from the tachograph to your company card, which you can read out conveniently in the office using a chip card reader. www.tachodownload.com
